Singletary and Solano receive PSUAC conference honors

Two Hazleton Men's Basketball Players received honors from the Penn State University Athletic Conference on Thursday for their outstanding play in the 2014-15 season. Freshman Jacob Solano (Bethlehem, PA) was named Second Team All-Conference and teammate, Freshman Jordan Singletary (Houston, TX) was given honorable mention.

Jacob Solano – The freshman guard took control of the Hazleton offense from day one averaging 21.3 points per game to lead Hazleton and rank 4^th overall in the conference. Solana eclipsed the 20 point mark in 13 of his 20 games this season and scored a season high 37 points on January 21 against Penn State Worthington Scranton.

Jordan Singletary – The freshman forward earned his way into the lineup to become Hazleton's second leading scorer, top rebounder and shot-blocker. Singletary averaged 9.5 rebounds per game ranking him 5^th amongst PSUAC contenders and 3^rd overall in field goal percentage at 61.2%. Singletary ranked 2^nd overall in the PSAUC in shot-blocking with 49 total blocked shots.
