Lions bolster infield with addition of Weaver
Hazleton, Pa. - The Nittany Lions added sophomore Eric Weaver to their ranks last week, boosting their talent in the infield and the pitching rotation. Following a brief stint at Goshen College in Indiana, the Hyattsville, Md. resident will dawn the navy and white for Hazleton in 2020 while pursuing a degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University. "We're thrilled to have Eric join the squad next season", stated head coach Justin Gutsie. "With his ability he'll have the opportunity to step in and make an immediate impact on the program and we're excited to see him perform."
After sitting out his freshman campaign with the Maple Leafs, Weaver makes the move to the Penn State University Athletic Conference with an impressive resume from his time at Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Md.
